Reviews

Many users note the advantages of using a spray compared to similar drops: the spray is more economical, the medicinal substance is evenly distributed over the surface of the mucous membrane, it is convenient to use in any conditions - at work and in public places. The drug acts quickly and effectively.

Xylometazoline is a decongestant with an average duration of action, which allows you to reduce the frequency of use and reduce it to 1-2 times a day. This is also noted as a positive quality of the drug. It is important that everyone who took it noted that after using the spray the mucous membrane does not dry out (due to the presence of eucalyptus oil and water).

With prolonged use, any decongestants can worsen a runny nose, cause a persistent deterioration in blood supply to the mucous membrane and cause its atrophy. Addiction to them quickly develops, which is expressed in a decrease or complete cessation of the effect. In this regard, many drugs are used for 3–5 days. Preparations containing essential oils, which include Evkazolin Aqua, Pinosol, Kameton, can be used for a longer period - up to 7 days.

It must be remembered that all vasoconstrictors for topical use can cause increased blood pressure and tachycardia. This is mentioned in reviews of Eucazoline Aqua. This fact limits its use in the elderly, patients suffering from arterial hypertension and thyrotoxicosis. For some users, the spray caused irritation of the nasal mucosa, a burning sensation in the nose and throat.

Price of Evkazolina Aqua, where to buy

You can buy it in many pharmacies in Moscow without a doctor’s prescription. Approximate price of Evkazoline 0.1% spray in bottles is 10 ml rubles.

Spray "Evkazolin Aqua": instructions for use, analogues and reviews

Each of us has probably experienced nasal congestion and runny nose at least once in our lives. It becomes difficult to breathe, and life no longer seems so comfortable. This condition interferes with normal sleep and leading a normal lifestyle. In this article we will look at what Evkazolin Aqua anti-runny nose spray is. Instructions for use, analogues and reviews are listed in this article. Therefore, after reading the information provided, you can make the right choice for yourself.

Description of the drug

The nasal medicine "Evkazolin Aqua" is in the form of a spray intended for irrigation of the nasal cavity. It is this form of release that allows the active substances to be delivered to the right place as quickly as possible. At the same time, droplets of healing liquid will be able to get into even the most inaccessible places. However, if necessary, you can purchase this product in the form of drops. The drug is able to have a vasoconstrictor effect, as well as eliminate swelling and hyperemia.

The drug "Evkazolin Aqua", the instructions for use of which are described below, is considered so effective because it contains xylometazoline. In addition, the composition also includes eucalyptus oil, which has an antiseptic effect. This component will help prevent the infection from spreading further.

Doctors do not recommend using the spray for a long time, since after a few days of use the body simply begins to get used to it. In this case, side effects may begin to appear.

What is the principle of operation

The drug "Evkazolin Aqua", instructions for use for which are included in each cardboard package, is capable of relieving nasal congestion for a long time. It becomes easier to breathe, as the secretion of mucous secretion, as well as hyperemia, decreases. In addition, the blood flow of the vessels located in the nasal cavity itself decreases. The eucalyptus oil contained in the composition can have a moisturizing and anti-inflammatory effect, which speeds up the healing process.

The drug does not have a systemic effect on the body. The first effect after use can be noticed within ten minutes. It really does become easier to breathe, and patient reviews confirm this. If the dosage was observed correctly, it means that the drug will penetrate the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity in a very small amount.

For rhinitis, the drug can alleviate the condition for seven to eight hours, after which all the symptoms of this disease will return again. "Evkazolin Aqua" instructions for use are positioned as a very effective remedy that can relieve you of unpleasant symptoms. However, it does not have a significant therapeutic effect.

In what cases can it be used?

Most often, this drug is prescribed to eliminate the symptoms of rhinitis. In this case, the disease can have both an acute and chronic form. In any case, the patient will complain of a runny nose, nasal congestion, dizziness and headache, and sometimes increased body temperature. Please note that the chronic form of rhinitis is more dangerous than the acute form. Therefore, if you notice that the disease periodically recurs, be sure to go to the hospital.

So, in what cases does the instruction for use recommend using “Evkazolin Aqua” (spray):

- all types of rhinitis, including allergic;

- the presence of inflammatory processes in the middle ear, as well as with sinusitis;

— the remedy is recommended by doctors for hay fever.

This medicine can also be used before medical examinations in the nasal cavity.

"Evkazolin Aqua" (spray): instructions for use

The product in the form of a spray is very convenient to use, since you can use it at absolutely any time in absolutely any place. The drug is sprayed evenly, so all areas of the nasal cavity will be exposed to it. In order for the product to have the maximum therapeutic effect, before using it you need to thoroughly clean the nasal passages of the mucus accumulated there. The medicine should be squirted into each nostril. To do this, bring the bottle to your nose and hold it in an upright position. As soon as you press the dispenser, immediately take a deep breath. Using this technique, you can carefully distribute the medication over the entire inner surface of the nose.

The instructions recommend using Evkazolin Aqua spray only if the patient has severe nasal congestion and it is very difficult to breathe. The drug can be used by adults, as well as children over twelve years of age. One spray should be administered into each nostril. The maximum number of injections that can be performed per day is three. Do not increase the dosage under any circumstances. This will lead to the development of side effects.

Important information

Experts warn that if you use this spray for more than seven days, addiction to it will begin to develop. But solving this problem will not be so easy. In addition, the product does not have a therapeutic effect. It will only make breathing easier and reduce swelling. If you use the product for more than a week, there is a risk of developing a disease such as drug-induced rhinitis. You simply won’t be able to get rid of it at home.

"Evkazolin Aqua": instructions for use during pregnancy

Typically, this drug is prescribed to pregnant women extremely rarely, however, according to reviews from pregnant women, the drug is really effective even during pregnancy.

There are no side effects. Under no circumstances should you start self-medicating. If the doctor has confirmed that the nasal spray will not have a negative effect on you and your unborn baby, then you can safely use it.

Use for children

"Evkazolin Aqua" instructions for use for children recommend using only in the form of drops. This type of drug can be prescribed to children over six years of age. Drops, just like the spray, work well for nasal congestion and relieve swelling. However, they do not have a healing effect. Therefore, before using them, be sure to consult your pediatrician.

Place two or three drops into each nostril. It is best to do this in a supine position. However, if this is not possible, then you just need to tilt your head back a little. This procedure should be carried out three or four times a day for several days.

Are there any side effects when using

According to patient reviews, Evkazolin Aqua drops (instructions for use are described in this article) can lead to side effects. Some patients complain of excessive dryness in the nasal area, as well as burning and stinging. If you use the product for too long, you may experience a headache, dizziness, and an increase in blood pressure.

Under no circumstances should the product be used by patients who are hypersensitive to its constituent components.

Analogs

The drug "Evkazolin Aqua" has a huge number of similar products. They all have similar effects, but seek advice from an experienced professional before using them. So, pay attention to the products that can replace the Eucazolin Aqua spray:

- “Rinostop” and many others.

Reviews from patients and doctors

The drug "Evkazolin Aqua" is indeed very popular and popular today. Many doctors prescribe this drug to their patients because they are confident in its effectiveness.

People who decide to try the effects of this spray agree that nasal congestion disappears almost instantly after using it. However, after a few hours the injection procedure must be repeated.

Patient reviews of eucazoline aqua

“Evkazolin Aqua” is the only drug that over the past 5 years has helped me fight nasal congestion, and also, oddly enough, allergies that plague me every summer! I am very pleased with its pricing policy, which in comparison with other representatives of this category is very, very good. My body perceives its components very favorably, which have a fairly pleasant smell and do not irritate the nasal mucosa, as all sorts of “herbal tincture” preparations, etc. do. Easy to use, nicely redesigned.

I found out about this drug completely by accident, the pharmacist recommended it, and I am grateful to her. I used this drug for quite a long time (about 3 years). I was completely satisfied, it clears the nose very quickly (2-3 minutes), has a pleasant smell and taste, and treats a runny nose well even in “advanced” stages. And sadly, I had to give it up, as the body adapted and the effectiveness of the spray decreased.

One of the most inexpensive, but at the same time effective remedies for the common cold. It has a pleasant smell and taste. Of course, it won’t help with serious illnesses, but it will provide first aid and unblock the nose in a matter of minutes.

I often get colds, and therefore I have already tried a large number of different drugs to get rid of a runny nose. And so I chose “Evkazolin”. Its main advantages are its speed of action, is non-addictive, and also has a reasonable price. Literally 2-3 minutes and you will be able to breathe through your nose, and the price-effectiveness ratio will not hit your wallet.

The doctor prescribed the drug “Evkaslin Aqua” to me two years ago, I went to him with sinusitis, I have been using the drug for two years now. In principle, I have no complaints about it, it penetrates well and for a long time, but it is addictive and then it is difficult to give it up. It got to the point where I sprayed it every day, morning and evening, but it shouldn’t be like that. Then I changed doctors and it turned out that I was most likely having an allergic reaction to something and there was no sinusitis, but the drug was herbal, which could cause constant swelling. I stopped using it and it became much easier, I just needed to buy regular vasoconstrictor drops without herbal additives. So you need to approach everything wisely and think about what you are doing. Be careful when using the drug.

My maxillary sinuses often become inflamed and I suffer from sinusitis. Over the years I have tried many different drops and sprays. But I will say that “Evkazolin” became a real salvation for me. The nose unfolds in 3 minutes. Then it is very easy to blow your nose and rinse your nose. Pus also comes out of the sinuses. Therefore, I consider this drug to be the best for the treatment of sinusitis. Although there are more expensive products, this one is in no way inferior to them. For greater effect, after spraying the liquid into the nostril, I lie down on my side. Then the drug penetrates deeper into the maxillary sinuses and the healing process is accelerated.

I saw a bottle of “Evkazolin Aqua” on the table of 2 employees and involuntarily remembered it. Soon I had to buy this medicine, since a severe runny nose ruined my son’s life. The spray quickly cleared nasal congestion and resumed normal breathing. I will use Eucazolin Aqua because it is a very effective medicine and affordable.

"Evkazolin Aqua" is good value for money. I really like this drug because it does not dry out the nasal mucosa and relieves swelling and itching relatively quickly. In general, I have already tried a large number of remedies for the runny nose in different price categories, since I have been struggling with chronic rhinitis for ten years now. And I can say with confidence that “Evkazolin Aqua” is currently one of the best remedies for a runny nose.

“Evkazolin Aqua” was recommended to me by an ENT specialist as a replacement for “Gasolin”, as it is addictive. I bought it, put it in, and am very pleased. Unlike other similar products, there is no burning sensation inside the nose and there is no snot for an order of magnitude longer (four hours if on the street, and five hours if at home). I was also pleased with the convenient packaging.

I often suffer from sinusitis, rhinitis and other nasty things. I tried a whole mountain of different remedies, nothing really helped. Recently, a friend of mine, with the same problem as me, recommended Evkazolin Aqua. Now only this drug helps. The action lasts about 8-12 hours. The only remedy that really helps fight a runny nose.

"Evkazolin Aqua" is simply a wonderful drug. I caught a cold from my husband and started having strong, thick snot. It was very difficult to breathe, I couldn’t even do anything - it was so bad. I turned to my doctor for help. The doctor looked at me and prescribed Eucazolin Aqua. I immediately ran to the pharmacy. The salesperson at the pharmacy told me a little about the drug and told me not to even think about it, but to buy it, which will definitely help. I bought it and started using it. By evening I felt relief. Immediately after use, it becomes immediately easier to breathe. After a couple of days, the runny nose went away on its own.

Since childhood I have suffered from irritability of the nasal mucosa. A runny nose almost always occurs: colds, strong odors, dust, that is, absolutely everything that creates an unfavorable environment from the outside. I tried a lot of remedies for a runny nose, but they all became addictive and eventually stopped helping. “Evkazolin aqua” is currently the only remedy that has helped me for many years in a row. The only salvation for every day. At the same time, for the price it is quite satisfactory.

My wife has seasonal allergies quite often, 2 times a year - in spring and summer (when ragweed blooms), and her work partner recommended Eucazolin Aqua, which helped her quite well. The first couple of days the swelling went away - and I also decided to try it (since at that time I had a runny nose with a very stuffy nose). I got used to it almost instantly - a day after I started using it, my nose began to swell very much to the point of a new “zilch”. The manual states that the spray cannot be used for more than a week - the wife began to get used to it already on the 3-4th day, the medicine gave relief for only a minute (in the first day - for several hours), and then the nose swelled so much that it was impossible to breathe. In both cases, the problems were solved by completely abandoning it (I simply stopped using it, and my wife switched to some kind of spray for children - I don’t remember exactly the name). Therefore, use with caution, in no case exceed the indicated dosage, and only on the recommendation of a doctor!

A very successful drug, it quickly relieves swelling in the nose and makes breathing easier. It works for a long time; if you spray it before bed, the effect lasts all night and even the next day. It happened that I had to use it for several days in a row - it was not addictive. And “Evkazolin Aqua” has a pleasant smell thanks to eucalyptus and an easy-to-use bottle. My favorite remedy if my nose can't breathe.

A runny nose is my constant illness. In winter - colds, in other seasons - allergic. I tried a bunch of tablets and sprays - nothing helped. And on top of everything - sinusitis. At night I couldn’t fall asleep, I couldn’t sleep peacefully, my head constantly hurt because of it. In addition, most sprays are not suitable - they cause allergies. Once I saw an advertisement for the spray “Evkazolin Aqua”. Well, I think I'll try. This medicine is my salvation. It quickly and effectively relieves a stuffy nose and, in combination with folk remedies, has cured sinusitis. I’ve been using it for several years now (naturally, only when I get a cold and runny nose), it’s not addictive, and personally it doesn’t cause allergies for me.

The drug is very helpful for colds, flu and other diseases accompanied by a stuffy nose. One spray from a convenient spray bottle into each nostril is enough to ease breathing for four or even five hours. At the same time, the drug compares favorably, for example, with the same “Naphthyzin” in that it not only breaks through a stuffy nose, but also performs a certain therapeutic function, thanks to the presence of eucalyptus oil in the composition, which makes it also quite pleasant to use.

I suffer from sinusitis. I tried various nasal drops and sprays (from the cheapest to the most expensive). There was a result, but for a very short period. I had to constantly carry drops with me in order to somehow get my nose in order. At my next appointment with the ENT specialist, he advised me to use the Evkazolin Aqua spray. I bought the drug immediately. I dropped it on the spot (this was not difficult, since the bottle is very convenient). I felt the results as soon as I got home. It became easier to breathe, the discharge decreased. The effect lasts quite a long time, so you don’t have to bury it often. I am very pleased with the drug. He is now my irreplaceable friend, always in my home medicine cabinet.

My daughter has been suffering from a runny nose since birth; as soon as the slightest breeze blows, the snot starts immediately. No matter how many medications we have tried, nothing helps. Recently, the pharmacy recommended a new drug to us - Evkazolin aqua. What can I say - not from the first, but from the second instillation, my daughter felt relief, the discharge became significantly less and there was no dryness in the nose. The instillation procedure itself is very convenient, because this medicine is in the form of a spray. This drug is suitable for our entire family because it is an effective and inexpensive remedy for the common cold.
