Erespal syrup: Instructions for use

Erespal syrup is preferable to tablets due to the absence of age restrictions. This drug can be prescribed to both adults and newborns; the only difference is the dosage, which is calculated in addition to age based on body weight.

Indications for the use of Erespal syrup are the same as for the use of tablets: inflammatory - both acute and chronic diseases of the respiratory tract (upper and lower sections), as well as otitis, allergic rhinitis and other allergic manifestations affecting the functioning of the respiratory system. The list of diseases for which the use of this remedy is recommended also includes influenza, measles, and whooping cough.

Composition and release form

Erespal syrup is an orange, transparent liquid; There is rarely a sediment, when it appears, it is recommended to shake the syrup.

1 ml. syrup - 2 mg fenspiride hydrochloride.

Excipients: honey aroma (honey, rum, alcoholates and alcohol extracts of honey, rose and orange flowers), licorice root extract (concentrated tincture of licorice root, glucose syrup, anise oil) and vanillin extract (aqueous-alcoholic decoction of vanilla pods, glycerin, sunset yellow S dye, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, saccharin, sucrose, potassium sorbate, distilled water).

Indications for use

Has an anti-inflammatory effect in the respiratory tract. Indications: rhinopharyngitis, laryngitis; otitis, sinusitis; rhinotracheobronchitis; bronchitis; bronchial asthma, respiratory phenomena due to measles, whooping cough and influenza (syrup).

Directions for use and doses

The syrup is taken orally.

For adults

Before meals, 3-6 tablespoons of syrup (45-90 ml) daily.

For children from 2 to 18 years old

The daily dose is 2-4 tablespoons of syrup (30-60 ml).

Infants and children under 2 years of age

Or children weighing less than 10 kg.

The daily dose is 4 mg per 1 kg of body weight, which is approximately: 2-4 teaspoons of syrup (10-20 ml).

Erespal syrup can be added to baby food bottles.

Erespal in syrup form is prescribed with caution to patients with hypersensitivity to acetylsalicylic acid and other NSAIDs due to the risk of allergic reactions (including bronchospasm) in this category of patients due to the fact that the syrup contains Sunset Yellow S dye .

For infectious diseases, Erespal is used in combination with standard antibiotic therapy.
