Olesya: I tried glycine forte, which is more expensive in the price category, but the dosage is the same.

Andrey: Not a word is said about choosing the size of stockings according to a person’s parameters: height, leg size, etc.

Olga: For coxarthrosis of the 2nd degree, I have been injecting for 4 years at the rate (after 6 months), there is no improvement.

Pinosol instructions

Pinosol is a topical herbal anticongestant for use in otorhinolaryngological practice. It is used for inflammation of the nasal mucosa (or, as the common people say, a runny nose) of an acute and chronic nature of non-allergic etiology, combined inflammation of the mucous membranes of the pharynx and nasal cavity, as well as other inflammatory diseases localized in the nasal cavity and nasal part of the pharynx. Has anti-inflammatory, anti-exudative, anti-edematous effect. It has a mucus-thinning effect on the secretions of the mucous membrane of the upper respiratory tract. Shows an antimicrobial effect against a number of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, including streptococci, Staphylococcus aureus and epidermal staphylococci, micrococci, Escherichia coli, as well as an antimycotic effect against candida and black aspergillus. Given the herbal nature of the drug, an isolated study of its pharmacokinetic characteristics (absorption, metabolism, degree of binding to plasma proteins, distribution, excretion) has not been carried out. Pinosol is available in the form of a spray, drops, ointment and cream. The frequency of use of the spray is determined by the severity of the pathological process and is 3-6 times a day, one injection into each nostril. The dispenser bottle is equipped with a protective cap that protects the drug from bacterial contamination. Injection is carried out with light pressure. Before use it is necessary to make two single injections.

The duration of the medication course is 10 days. In consultation with the doctor, it is possible to increase the duration of pharmacotherapy or conduct a repeat course. Pinosol in the form of drops on the first day of treatment is used every 1-2 hours, 1-2 drops in each nostril, and in subsequent days (and for children - from the first day of treatment) once a day. Pinosol can be administered in the form of drops using an inhaler. The duration of the medication course is up to 1 week. Pinosol ointment or cream is applied 0.5 cm into each nostril using a cotton swab or swab. The frequency of performing this manipulation is once a day. Duration of use: up to 1 week (for cream), 1-2 weeks (for ointment). Apart from rare cases of allergies manifested by burning, itching, hyperemia of the mucous membranes, no other side effects were observed when using the drug. Pinosol can be used in pediatric practice after patients reach the age of three. The drug is contraindicated for inflammation of the nasal mucosa of allergic etiology and individual intolerance to the components. The presence of individual intolerance is checked before the start of a pharmacotherapeutic course by means of a single injection of the drug into one of the nasal passages. If an allergy develops, the drug should be discontinued. There are no cases of pharmacological incompatibility of Pinosol with other drugs.

Reviews from doctors about Pinosol

The drug is super, very gentle and has a good effect on the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity and nasopharynx, good moisturizing effect.

Because based on plant origin, sometimes allergic reactions occur in patients.

I have been using the drug in practice for a long time after surgical interventions on the nasal septum, in the postoperative process of moistening the mucous membrane, plus it has shown itself well in the treatment of subatrophic pharyngitis, moistening the back wall of the pharynx.

A mild preparation based on medicinal herbs. Well softens the nasal mucosa. Good vasoconstrictor effect. Good healing effect. Indicated for use in adults and children. Well tolerated.

May be addictive. Contraindicated for use in people with allergies.

Price and quality match.

An excellent vasoconstrictor with a mild herbal effect. Softens the nasopharyngeal mucosa, which helps prevent prolonged rhinitis. It also restores the skin in the area of the vestibule of the nose, which is important when used in children.

Considering the herbal composition, it should be used with caution in those patients who have a history of allergies.

Price and quality correspond 100%.

"Pinosol" is a good vasoconstrictor drug that has a mild effect on the nasal mucosa. Used in both children and adults.

The price corresponds to the quality of the drug.

With prolonged use, addiction may occur; take strictly according to instructions. Possible side effects. Contraindicated for allergy sufferers.

Unlike any vasoconstrictor, it softens the nasal mucosa and has a healing effect.

Very weak in relieving nasal congestion. Use in patients with allergies is perhaps not advisable due to the composition of the herbs.

I would say it’s a very “mild” drug, more suitable for treating a slight runny nose, but it’s unlikely to help with congestion.

Patient reviews of Pinosol

I bought these drops for my son when he had a cold, it suited him very well. I liked that the drops do not dry out the nasal cavity and the composition is natural, and also that they not only have a vasoconstrictor effect, but also heal. The child’s runny nose was not severe, so Pinosol coped with it. I tried putting drops in my nose, but it didn’t help; on the contrary, I had an allergic reaction. So I’ll have to choose other drops for myself, but I’ll leave these in the medicine cabinet for my son.

A proven remedy for the treatment of runny nose, I have been using it for more than one year in a row. The preparation contains natural oils, so it moisturizes the nasal cavity well, relieves irritation and relieves a runny nose. I use it in combination with Sinupret, but you shouldn’t abuse it because it’s addictive. When I have a cold, I put it in my clogged sinuses and sleep peacefully.

I was persuaded to buy these drops at the pharmacy, but after several days of use there was no improvement. The drops only collected in the nose and did not even improve breathing. After a few more days of use, I became disillusioned with the drug and stopped using it. After this I don't buy it anymore.

“Pinosol” always saves me when I have a runny nose. Soft action, as if enveloping the walls of the nose. After just three days, the runny nose goes away. I always keep it in my medicine cabinet in case of a cold. The only negative is that it does not relieve congestion. We have to resort to other drops. But this is not part of his task.

Good, effective and inexpensive Pinosol drops, they have never let you down, I tested it personally! They cope well with a runny nose, as soon as such a problem appears, I always treat myself with these drops, a positive result is achieved within a few days. They actually treat, and do not temporarily clear, a stuffy nose. A big plus, of course, is the natural composition, absolutely safe. I have never had any allergies or any side effects, the main thing is to strictly follow the instructions, and then everything will be fine. I also really like the smell, pleasant notes of eucalyptus and pine needles. Definitely recommend!

Since I lead a healthy lifestyle, I often get sick, mostly with a runny nose. “Pinosol” are those drops that help me a lot, which I can’t say about the others. In all cases, except for pinosol, it either did not penetrate the nose, or the capillaries burst or dried the nose too much. After using pinosol everything became fine. I’ll even say that I really like the smell. I recommend it to everyone, as there seem to be no cases of side effects.

I have been using Pinosol for 15 years at the first symptoms of a runny nose. This is one of the essential medicines in my home medicine cabinet. It does not constrict blood vessels at all, and it does not relieve nasal congestion! But this is perhaps the only remedy that really treats a runny nose and relieves inflammation. Natural oils in the drops treat, unlike all other drops and sprays, which have only one effect - to constrict blood vessels (that is, essentially relieving symptoms, but not treating). If you have a severe runny nose, after 2-3 days of treatment with Pinosol, the snot suddenly begins to go away and the runny nose goes away. In general, the remedy is magical and harmless. The only thing is that at night I usually drip pinosol together with naphthyzine so that there is treatment and the nose can breathe.

I catch a cold very often, and then the runny nose takes a long and tedious cure. I tried Pinosol for the first time when I was pregnant. It is one of those drugs that can be taken by pregnant and nursing mothers, a plant-based drug with a therapeutic effect. I really like it, literally 3-4 days, and the runny nose is gone. Unlike other drops, it softens the nasal mucosa very well. Yes, of course, it may not be the cheapest, but you shouldn’t skimp on your health. The price of the drug corresponds to its quality. But pay attention to the instructions, it cannot be taken for more than a week.

A runny nose is generally an eternal problem, and at the first sign of its appearance, I try to take radical measures to eliminate it. If I start treatment, then a state of complete depression and headache is guaranteed for a couple of days. Of course, you can use improvised means, such as heating, if there is no temperature. Since most drugs cause dryness and burning, I chose Pinosol for myself. Fortunately, I do not have an allergic reaction to oils. But it helps really well only if you use it strictly according to the instructions and at the end of the day, again, if you use it according to the instructions, the runny nose goes away. This remedy has become a lifesaver for me.

"Pinosol" is an excellent drug of choice for pregnant women for runny nose and nasal congestion. The composition of the drug components is selected in such a way that it does not pose any risk to the fetus. So expectant mothers don’t have to worry. Yes, it does not act as strongly as vasoconstrictors, but it also copes well with nasal problems. The only possible negative is an allergic reaction to one of the components, but this happens extremely rarely.

These drops do absolutely nothing - they have no effect on nasal congestion and do not eliminate inflammation. Although their advantage can be called that they do not dry out the nasal mucosa (unlike “piercing” drops), but personally I don’t need such a “plus”: it’s better to have a nose that is dry from the inside, but breathes. In addition, apricot oil easily removes such dryness.

I’ve been familiar with drops for a runny nose – “Pinosolom” – for a long time. I really like this drug, first of all, because it consists of plant components, which is less harmful to the body as a whole. The pleasant consistency and smell of these drops also create a wonderful impression of the drug. “Pinosol” begins to act quickly, significantly facilitating breathing during nasal congestion. I also wanted to highlight in “Pinosol” the fact that it even acts on candida fungi and other microbes. An excellent, not very expensive drug that you can use without fear of side effects. I recommend Pinosol to everyone who has not yet chosen the best drops for the common cold. I did not find any disadvantages or drawbacks when using Pinosol. My rating for this medicine is 5 points.

“Pinosol” is the only drug that does not aggravate the picture of my history of chronic polysinusitis. I was diagnosed with this problem at the age of 19, after which the doctors unanimously recommended not to use vasoconstrictor drops at the onset of a runny nose, since this would only prolong the duration of the disease. Then I found an alternative - “Pinosol”, drops based on essential oils and herbal preparations. Yes, it does not act so quickly, does not stop the secretion of mucus and does not immediately relieve sinus swelling, but it does a much more important job - it heals.

A doctor prescribed Pinosol to me for acute respiratory infections, citing its natural composition. Before going to bed, I decided to use it because I couldn’t breathe. The medicine smells pleasant. The oils in the composition cause a not entirely pleasant sensation in the nose, I really wanted to rinse it out. But what upset me was that the drug did not particularly relieve the congestion. An hour later, I dripped my nose again, hoping for results, but all in vain. After a while, my husband fell ill, and this medicine did not help him either. Once again I am convinced that everything is individual, because many are satisfied with Pinosol.

For many years now I have been buying Pinosol for nasal congestion. My nasal mucosa often dries out and it’s difficult to breathe, so I took the choice of medication seriously. The drops contain essential oils and for me this is the best option. After instillation, the nose is partially pierced, but for complete recovery it is necessary to use the drops for 3-4 days.

I wanted to write a few words about this drug. I used Pinosol since childhood, because I often caught a runny nose, especially in the autumn-spring period. That’s when the pharmacy recommended these drops. Of course, the sensations from instillation are not the most pleasant (possibly due to the presence of various essential oils in the preparation), but the result was pleasing. After about 3 days, the runny nose goes away. The only thing is that “Pinosol” does not help with nasal congestion; for this it is already necessary to use vasoconstrictor drugs, such as “Xylometazoline” or “Naphthyzin”. True, it is better not to get carried away with them, otherwise addiction will occur.

This product was perfect for me. I used it during pregnancy. In such a “delicate” situation it is very difficult to find an effective remedy. And pinosol did an excellent job with a runny nose. Consists of essential oils, which does not cause contraindications. The sensations from use are very similar to inhalation; although it does not work immediately, after several uses the symptoms disappeared.

When I had a runny nose, I washed it with saline solution, but my nose was still stuffy, I had to buy Pinosol, the pharmacy said it was popular. I read the instructions and started spraying once into each nostril. The sensation was terrible, as if I had poured acetone or a similar chemical into my nose, which burned my mucous membranes. Oily liquid then continued to flow from the nose, but the nose did not even decompose, and she continued to sniffle all night. I couldn’t complete the whole course, I just tried to take a nap in the morning, the sensations were the same.

This is an indispensable remedy for a runny nose in our family medicine cabinet. It does not irritate the mucous membranes as much as other drugs do, and effectively treats a runny nose. I treat my baby’s nose only with Pinosol. For ten years I experimented with different remedies against the runny nose, but settled on “Pinosol” - it is not addictive, its composition is based on natural eucalyptus oils. The oil does not irritate, but moisturizes. After using it, literally in a couple of days I forget about a runny nose of any stage.

I remember “Pinosol” from childhood: whenever I had a runny nose, my mother always bought it. And now I actually always have it in my medicine cabinet. I usually use it 5-6 times a day, sometimes more often. Among the advantages: natural ingredients, pleasant smell and taste of eucalyptus and mint, my throat doesn’t burn like some drugs do, the price is quite reasonable, and, of course, I get rid of my runny nose in just a few days. Among the shortcomings: I only noticed that if the nose is stuffy, then “Pinosol” does not really help with this, it only helps well with a runny nose. The bottle is easy to use, with a convenient applicator.

During nasal congestion I use drops based on herbal extracts “Pinosol”. The drug is produced in Slovakia and contains herbal components that are effective for the nose. Three days of use was enough for me to get rid of a runny nose and nasal congestion. At first there may be a burning sensation in the nasal cavity, which can be unpleasant. The drug has an oily structure and consists of essential oils. For severe nasal congestion, Pinosol drops can be used with vasodilating drops, which free the nasal canal from congestion. The last time the doctor prescribed me to use Pinosol in this way.

When cold weather sets in, the cold remedy “Pinosol” immediately appears in my medicine cabinet. The drug is based on herbal components, so you don’t have to worry about its negative effect on the body. We use it to treat runny nose in both children and adults. Moreover, it helped me effectively cope with a runny nose during pregnancy, when almost all medications are contraindicated. Pinosol has a softening effect, has a soft and pleasant aroma of eucalyptus and pine needles, and has an oily taste with a refreshing effect. Drops help to cope with a runny nose in a maximum of 5 days.

A very good medicine for a runny nose, I always use it when I have a cold. It has a pleasant smell of eucalyptus, there is no effect of a dry nose, like many drugs for the common cold. The component is based on oils of mountain pine, mint and eucalyptus, so this product can safely be considered a natural preparation. Although the effect of the medicine is not immediate, after three or four uses you feel a clear decrease in inflammation of the nasopharynx. Even when your throat hurts, when you use Pinosol, the unpleasant symptoms of its inflammation go away.

Among the medications that can always be seen in my medicine cabinet, there is certainly Pinosol. I like that it is made with the addition of herbs and does not dry out the nasal mucosa thanks to the oils. I had long forgotten about the runny nose as such. As soon as the nose stops breathing, I immediately drop pinosol and everything goes away.

Pinosol is a reliable drug that quite quickly relieves inflammation in the nasal passage. Today I prefer pinosol, since all other drugs with similar effects do not lead to the desired result. I also want to note that Pinosol has minimal contraindications - this is important. If we talk about the cost of the drug, then I would classify it as an average price category and give it a five plus in terms of the parameter: price-quality.

Hello. Recently I was very cold outside and caught a cold - snot was just pouring out of me, this had never happened to me before. On the way home from work, I stopped by the pharmacy, a kind aunty saleswoman recommended Pinosol, I was not familiar with it before. I liked it, it immediately felt better, I used it for another 3 days and my problem ceased to exist. A very good medicine.

My child constantly suffers from a stuffy nose. It is impossible to go to school. I give her Pinosol in the morning before school and in the evening before bed. One of the few drugs that really helps a child.

Latest reviews about Pinosol

Very pleased. Effective, natural, safe.

Excellent as a preventive remedy for the first symptoms of a runny nose and sore throat. For a runny nose, it is good together with a vasoconstrictor.
